Controller

ilumed is seeking a Controller to help shape and strengthen our financial foundation. This critical leadership role will oversee daily financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide strategic insights that support decision-making across the organization. What You’ll Do:

• Lead all core accounting functions: general ledger, AP/AR, cash flow, revenue recognition, and fixed assets

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, forecasts, and reports for leadership and investors

• Guide and support the accounting team in daily operations and ongoing projects

• Design and manage reporting tools that highlight performance, key trends, and areas for improvement

• Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and other regulatory standards

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to optimize financial and operational performance

• Oversee annual budgeting, projections, bonus calculations, and variance reporting

• Manage audits, internal controls, and risk assessments

• Prepare tax documentation and assist with year-end reporting

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CGMA preferred)

• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience (healthcare experience a plus)

• At least 2 years of experience managing or supervising finance teams

• Strong working knowledge of NetSuite and Microsoft Office Suite

• Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills

• Deep understanding of financial reporting laws and best practices

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• A minimum of 5 years of full cycle accounting experience preferably within the financial industry.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct managerial or supervisory experience.
• CPA, CGMA or similar certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Additional Information

• Must abide by all HIPAA, Confidentiality & Privacy Laws
• Must be on-site during regular business hours unless otherwise assigned
• Must be able to travel up to 25%
