The Autism Center of Nebraska, Inc. is currently looking for highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team! Do you have a genuine passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities?

We are seeking exemplary staff for PART-TIME positions in our Group Home and Supported Services (In-home) department. Please see open shifts below.

Our Direct Support Professionals (DSP) at ACN work directly with individuals who experience autism and other developmental disabilities. The DSP is responsible for teaching a variety of independent living skills such as maintaining the home, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and participating in community activities of the individuals' choice. This position also involves documentation, medication administration, and transportation.

ACN offers an excellent benefit package to full-time employees working 30 hours or more per week, including Medical, Dental & Vision.

Available shifts: Residential Group Home Available overnight shifts - Wednesday, Friday & Sunday overnight (female group homes) Weekend hours available - Saturday & Sunday 8am - 3pm and 3-10pm (female group homes) Saturday 2pm -10pm (male group) Supported Services (In-home) Monday -Friday 3:30pm - 8pm, Saturday and Sunday 5 to 6 hour shifts Certification/Training - All paid trainings • First Aid & CPR • Medication Aide • BART (Behavioral Assessment & Redirection Techniques) • On-the-Job Training

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in Englilsh with the ability to articulate thoughts clearly
  • Valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance
  • Your own reliable transportation and good driving record
