Tandem Foods is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Pittsburgh, PA. If you have experience with production line operations, machining, milling, and computer numeric control, we want to hear from you!
Machine Operators will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining equipment to produce high-quality products that meet company standards.
Job Expectations:
- Operate and monitor machines during production
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure product quality
- Perform assembly and use personal protective equipment
- Conduct preventive maintenance on machines
- Inspect products for quality control
- Assist with general repair and inspections
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience operating machinery or equipment, particularly in a food production setting
- Knowledge of machine operator, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical work orders and safety instructions
- Basic math skills
- Familiarity with GMP and food safety
