This position can be onsite, hybrid, or remote (in Texas). It is a full-time position with an expected minimum of 32 hours per week. Salary is negotiable dependent upon board certifications.
Under the clinical supervision of the Medical Director. This position provides psychiatric care to a caseload proportionate to % FTE. Travel within counties of service area may be required for service provision and attendance of medical staff meetings. The psychiatrist is responsible for the delivery of psychiatric evaluation, medication management, treatment planning, and emergency evaluations to children, adolescents, and/or adults based on credentials and certifications. Must have and maintain an unrestricted licensed to practice medicine in Texas and adhere to current standards of practice for psychiatric diagnosis and treatment. Must have the ability to provide services via telemedicine and to effectively use an electronic medical record to document services. The psychiatrist is responsible for ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, billing code requirements, and will complete records in a timely manner using the designated medical record system. Must be willing to attend appropriate seminars and other training sessions to keep abreast of current medical practice. Must be willing to supervise the work of others, including Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs). Other duties include consultation with staff, treatment team participation, and coordination with other professionals.
