Education: Requires a High School diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor's degree in a Human Services related field preferred.
Experience: Experience in a social, behavioral, or human service occupation preferred, but not required. Experience working in a community mental health clinic is preferred. Must be familiar with working with adults with co-occurring psychiatric and chemical dependency/substance use disorders. Must be familiar with working with adolescents ages 13 to 17 years old with co-occurring psychiatric and chemical dependency/substance use disorders.
Required License/Certifications
LCDC Intern license required, full LCDC preferred. (Must be valid in the state of Texas)
A valid Texas driver’s license and good driving record is required along with a copy of a valid auto insurance card.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, lift 25 pounds, sit for an extended period, and reach overhead.
