· Plus, so much more! Aldersgate is looking for a Sales & Marketing Director to support our Independent Living sales and marketing team. Reporting to the Corporate Independent Living Sales and Marketing Director, the primary purpose of the Sales & Marketing Director is to remarket and sell vacant IL units and new construction through maintaining a relationship with wait list contacts and new prospects.
What you'll do:
· Develop and continuously improve upon (regularly update) each community’s trimester Sales & Marketing plan.
· Develop a forecast for annual turnover for budget and planning.
· Oversee lead generation building activities through informational meetings, prepared presentations, speeches, open houses, and/or other special events.
· Partner with the Givens Communities Director of Public Relations and Communication to implement a public education and cultivation program to target the members of local constituency groups within the prioritized target market areas, churches, the media, civic groups, professional medical community, and influential professionals who advise prospective residents (attorneys, trust officers, insurance consultants, investment advisers, selected real estate professionals), as well as other identifiable groups that may be beneficial to the promotion of Givens Communities;
· Supervise the daily work and overall job performance of the Sales Counselors, Move in Coordinators, Remarket Specialist and Sales and Marketing Assistants.
· Develop an effective sales and marketing environment by establishing the organizational structure of the Sales and Marketing team, recruiting, hiring and supervision of all Sales and Marketing personnel, providing on-site Sales and Marketing support and influencing the physical layout, display and order of the Sales and Marketing office.
· Actively participate with recommendations regarding the graphics, communications program, all Sales and Marketing materials, direct mail pieces, newsletters, internet, advertising strategies for selected media and publications in the markets we serve.
· Mange the implementation and consistent utilization of the customer relationship management system, including weekly and monthly reports of Sales and Marketing activities, leads, lead follow-up, events, activity effectiveness, and other information required by management.
· Coordinate the completion and appropriate distribution of all weekly and monthly Sales and Marketing activity and sales reports.
· Monitor competition in the markets we serve by conducting market analyses.
· Oversee the maintain internal resident transfer lists, at both LPC locations, to meet the needs of residents who wish to relocate to an alternate IL residence due to health and/or financial reasons.
· Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor.
What you'll need:
· Four-year college degree with concentration in Sales and marketing or related field.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in management in the Sales and Marketing or Sales field.
· Must have experience in sales and marketing in the CCRC industry.
· Experience in making presentations for individuals as well as large groups of people is required.
· Must have the knowledge and experience to close a sale.
· Must have knowledge of how to financially qualify applicants.
· Ability to use CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite products.
Compensation is $85k - $95k, based on experience, and includes our comprehensive benefits package. This position will be eligible for a sales commission structure.
