Givens Aldersgate is looking for an experienced Mail Services and Procurement Coordinator who will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of mail services (receiving, sorting, distributing, and incoming and outgoing shipments), postal supplies, and records. In this role you will support procurement by processing requisitions, tracking orders, and manage optimal centralized procurement supply inventory. Â
What you’ll do:
- Collect, sort, and distribute incoming mail to residents and departments.
- Process outgoing mail, calculate postage, and deliver mail to the post office.
- Maintain postage funds, manage the postage meter and related equipment, and ensure accurate accounting of postal expenses.
- Process prints shop requests, including production and delivery of materials, monthly printing, stuffing and mailing of customer billing/statements.
- Process purchase requisitions, obtain competitive pricing, create purchase orders for approval, track order status, and resolve discrepancies.
- Inspect incoming materials for quality and conformance to specifications implementing quality control measures.
- Accurately enter and maintain data in inventory management systems.
What you’ll need:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory management, mailroom services, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Compensation: $16- $23.84
