Loan Operations Specialist II

The Loan Operations Specialist II is responsible for all post-closing loan servicing functions executed and overseen by the department. Supports commercial loan production teams through courteous, timely, and accurate servicing of the commercial loan portfolio.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Works directly with the loan production officers and assistants to aid in servicing of the commercial loan portfolio.
2. Identifies, tracks, and communicates loan exceptions, as needed.
3. Loads loan to the core system once signed.
4. Perfects collateral.
5. Accepts and posts loan payments.
6. Provides payoffs and release collateral on paid off loans within the regulatory timeline.
7. Maintains escrow payments and annual analysis.
8. Responds to and assists customers with questions on their existing loans.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or minimum 5 years’ equivalent work experience, required.
• 3-5 years’ experience in financial institution producing commercial, agriculture, consumer, and mortgage lending, required.
