The Nurse (RN) is a registered professional nurse who assesses, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.

 

 

  • Document patient information and nursing care in the provision of nursing services.
  • Document and reassess any significant changes in the patient's condition in compliance with facility policy.
  • Report any signs or symptoms of infection in patients to the Infection Control Nurse.
  • Verify the accuracy of patient records.
  • Employ principles of communication, interviewing techniques, and problem solving and crisis intervention when performing psychotherapeutic interventions.
  • Intervention is based on knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures, as well as the plan of care.
  • Employ facility approved CPI techniques as necessary.
  • Accurately and timely administer medication to patients.

 

 

Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:

 

  • Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred & Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Indiana State Board of Nursing as an RN.
  • Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility is preferred.
  • Additional Skill Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. You must obtain a CPR certification and successfully finish the Management of Aggressive Behavior course, which includes restraint and seclusion policies, within 90 days of starting work and before helping with restraining procedures.

Compensation:

This job is a full-time role. The salary scale for this position is $38.00 to $48.00 per hour. We are eager to engage with all qualified candidates, taking into account their experience and skill level. Join us as our RN!
