Position Overview: 
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant with experience assisting in Level 1 in-office surgical procedures to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating room (OR) assistance and a passion for medical aesthetics. This role is essential in supporting providers during aesthetic and surgical treatments and ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for every patient.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and in-office surgical procedures (Level 1). 

  • Prepare and maintain sterile examination and procedure rooms, adhering to all cleanliness and safety protocols. 

  • Set up surgical trays and instruments, ensuring proper sterilization and inventory management. 

  • Obtain and document patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information. 

  • Educate patients on upcoming procedures, post-operative care, and recommended skincare regimens. 

  • Manage patient scheduling, follow-ups, and maintain accurate and confidential medical records. 

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to enhance the patient experience. 

  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. 

Qualifications

Qualifications 

  • Certified Medical Assistant required 

  • Current ACLS/BLS Certification 

  • Operating Room (OR) assistant for level 1 in-office surgeries experience required 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 

  • Previous experience in a medical or aesthetic setting is highly preferred. 

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.  

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach. 

  • Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems. 

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
