We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Print Operations Technician to join our team at Guarantee Trust Life. As a member of the IT Infrastructure team, this entry-level role is a great way for a technically-savvy and reliable individual to get a start working at a great company. This role focuses on managing the day-to-day printing operations as well as the execution of recurring IT functions that support operations, ensuring high-quality output and operational efficiency. Supported by a team of IT professionals and mail operations staff, you will be part of our dynamic team.

The work schedule for this position is 6:30am-4:30pm Monday through Thursday, and 8am-12pm on Fridays. This is a full-time onsite role.

Key Responsibilities

Print Operations:

  • Operate and maintain our high-speed, full color enterprise printers to produce a wide variety of output such as policy forms, correspondence, reports, and marketing materials.
  • Monitor printer equipment to identify and resolve issues such as paper jams and ink inconsistencies ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Perform quality control checks and audits on all print output to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and calibration of equipment for optimal performance.
  • Work with vendor support technicians to resolve issues and complete repairs.

Process Improvement:

  • Document printing workflows and maintenance logs to ensure consistency and compliance with operational standards.
  • Maintain equipment operations and maintenance logs.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline printing processes and enhance system reliability.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (e.g., paper stock, printer components) and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating production printers and/or printing software
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems (e.g., Windows 10/11)
  • Experience supporting Windows based computers
  • Basic knowledge of IT imaging tools or ticketing systems

 

The pay range provided is not a guarantee of compensation.  The range reflects potential pay for the job grade for this role at the time of this posting. Compensation will depend on several factors such as specific competencies, relevant education and experience, qualifications, and industry certifications.  Compensation ranges are subject to change and may be higher or lower than the range described above.
