Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 annualized

Summary/Objective: 

This position will oversee all technical disciplines associated with weekend services and events including training, scheduling and discipleship for all staff and volunteers in the areas of audio, video and lighting.

 

Essential Functions:

  1. Supervise (train, direct, develop, and encourage) Production staff and volunteers, for all areas with production equipment, including worship center, Kids areas, Gym, and meetings rooms.
  2. Work with team in recruiting and scheduling volunteers for weekend services and special events.
  3. Collaborate with other staff for upcoming weekend services, series, and other events.
  4. Participate in calendaring meetings to coordinate schedules, align on priorities, and support efficient planning and scheduling.
  5. Order appropriate equipment as needed and oversee repairs of audio, video, and lighting equipment to ensure safety and continued performance.
  6. Ensure that communication regarding Production pieces is done clearly and on time with appropriate individuals and stations.
  7. Oversee that all equipment is ready for weekend services.
  8. Ensure coverage for certain events and school activities, as needed.
  9. Perform other duties, as needed. 

 

Time Requirements:

This position will be completed in 40 hours per week, including weekends, some evenings and holidays.

 

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office and church environment and uses standard office and video/sound equipment such as laptop computers, desktop computers and telephones.

 

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and frequently required to sit and/or stand for sustained periods of time; lift, push, pull items in excess of 30 lbs; walk and reach with hands and arms.

 

 

Qualifications

Requirements:

Professional/Education

  1. Ability to manage confidentiality in all aspects of job.
  2. Bachelors Degree preferred.
  3. 5+ year audio, video and lighting oversight experience.  Church service programming a plus.
  4. Strong computer skills.
