Essential Functions
- Establish and maintain a “pulling system” vs. a push from sales (Be involved at 70%/certainty threshold)
- Establish and maintain a handoff procedure that works.
- Rapidly negotiate and navigate submittal process to procure materials to save costs and ensure project is ready to go on time.
- Build and maintain 14-day, 30 day and annual schedule and forecast.
- Recruit and maintain appropriate labor to support revenue.
- Maintain and foster relationships with unions.
- Ensure customer communication early often and consistent.
- Deliver on time, under budget and above expectation.
- Lead, manage, and hold accountable: Your team of direct reports.
- Meet or beat goals on jobs and for department: Revenue, margin, and budget.
- Accurate and timely forecasting, progress communication and final turnover to accounting
- Identify, negotiate, execute change orders as necessary to protect and enhance budget.
- Collect, organize, act on and disseminate accurate and current project information to supers, crews, and management team.
