Description

Job Summary: The Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability Intern will support the Community Relations and Sustainability teams. This internship offers experience with sustainability reporting, community engagement initiatives and corporate responsibility strategy.

 

Essential Responsibilities/Activities:

 

  • Assist in the collection, analysis, and validation of ESG data for internal and external reporting, including reports aligned with frameworks such as GRI and SASB.
  • Support the preparation of content for annual sustainability and corporate citizenship reports, presentations, and executive briefings.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, peer benchmarking, and best practices in sustainability and community engagement.
  • Help track and measure the impact of corporate citizenship programs, including employee volunteerism and community partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to gather information and support program implementation.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of engagement initiatives.
  • Provide general administrative and project support to the Corporate Citizenship team.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills:

 

  1.  Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
  2.  Strong project management and organizational skills.
  3.  Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  4.  Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  5.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  6.  Must work well in a team environment.

 

Essential Physical Functions:

  • Sitting for prolonged periods
  • Requires periodic visits to manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, loading and unloading required related to engagement and event activities.
  • Some travel with overnight stays required

 

Equipment or Software Knowledge or Skills:

The qualified candidate must be proficient in the Microsoft suite of products, especially Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
