Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Administrator to support our logistics operations. This role is responsible for coordinating the shipment of goods, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, packing lists, shipping labels)
  • Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to schedule pickups and deliveries
  • Track and update shipment status using ERP or logistics software
  • Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records
  • Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, or damage claims
  • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies
  • Support warehouse operations and assist with order fulfillment as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or administrative support
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and shipping software (e.g., FedEx, UPS, ERP systems)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a deadline-driven environment
  • Familiarity with international shipping and customs documentation is a plus
