Cornerstone Care, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), with locations throughout Southwestern Pa., is seeking an Accountant to join our  team.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Will assist in the processes of the general accounting and financial reporting functions of the organization to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and all applicable government and agency requirements.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enters invoices into the accounts payable computer system by debiting invoice to applicable General Ledger account.
• Prepares, reviews, and reconciles accounts payable computer reports to actual invoice totals, in addition to checking for data entry errors to the General Ledger.
• Prepares and files vendor files    
•  Communicates with vendors and co-workers on any issues that may present itself, as it relates the payment of supplies, equipment, and/or services to the vendor.s
• Prepares and enters month end journal entries as they apply to the accounting process, as approved.
• Assists and develops any accounting and financial analysis as directed to assist management in making business decisions and/or efficient internal operational decisions.
