Branch Manager - Tulsa Mingo

Summary

The Branch Manager (BM) is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the branch, managing retail banking staff, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. This includes handling staffing, performance evaluations, sales goals, compliance with policies, and maintaining a positive work culture. The BM works closely with corporate managers and other departments to promote products and services, oversee branch security and maintenance, and foster community relationships. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to drive the branch’s success and maintain operational excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and manage retail staff, ensuring proper staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Provide guidance to staff, setting performance standards and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Serve as a resource for staff, resolving escalated issues and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with corporate management to ensure product/service offerings meet customer needs.
  • Open new accounts and deliver high-quality customer service to retain existing clients and attract new customers.
  • Identify and act on sales referrals, working with other departments to cross-sell bank products and services.
  • Collaborate on product development and marketing strategies to enhance branch offerings.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of product proposals and presentations.
  • Promote bank events and initiatives through customer and prospect outreach.
  • Represent the bank at community and networking events, building relationships and promoting the brand.
  • Operate within budgetary constraints and ensure compliance with operational policies and regulations.
  • Build relationships with customers, businesses, and the community to drive new business and meet sales goals.
  • Monitor branch sales goals and lead regular meetings to track progress and address challenges.
  • Provide regular reports on branch performance, sales, and activities to management.
  • Conduct employee training and maintain security protocols to ensure the safety and efficiency of branch operations.
  • Perform audits of branch assets, including cash handling, security equipment, and facility maintenance.
  • Maintain safe deposit box operations and oversee related responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the branch's success.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • College degree or 10-12 years of relevant experience in branch operations, supervision, and sales.
  • Strong knowledge of consumer and commercial banking products and services.
  • Experience in branch operations, customer service, and team management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in computer applications and banking software.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for 4-6 hours a day and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to see details at a close range and understand spoken information.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces (e.g., vault) and perform data processing tasks.
