Summary:

 

The Payroll Analyst is responsible for processing weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly domestic and international payrolls accurately and on time. Maintains payroll records for processing earnings, deductions, taxes, employee changes, and reports for accuracy and auditing on a weekly basis.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Process payrolls by maintaining employee records weekly including but not limited to new hires, terminations, salary and department changes, payroll earnings, benefits deductions, taxes, and garnishments.
  • Audit time records to ensure accurate remuneration.
  • Monitor worked hours, PTO, deductions, 401K Contributions, pay rates, hire/term, allowances, timecard coding for LOA case to ensure accurate payroll.
  • Work closely with accounting to provide weekly reports and funding information for global payrolls, 401k transmittals, temporary labor invoices, and workers comp rates.
  • Responsible for user/manager access set up for time and attendance and support employees with resolving HRIS systems issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of year end W-2s or other related tax filings or reports.
  • Track attendance and manage the scheduling module.
  • Generate weekly/monthly reports to the management team.
  • Assist supervisors with timecard questions.
  • Train new managers on the use of the HRIS schedule modules, exceptions, and timecard approvals upon hire. Set up and manage access levels to ensure visibility to employees.
  • Perform other duties and projects as needed and assigned.

 

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum Qualifications - Education/Experience:

 

  • Must have Bachelor's Degree  or equivalent experience.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of payroll experience.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Human Resources Information Systems. Paycom experience preferred, but not required.
  • Must successfully pass a Microsoft Office assessment.
  • Must have excellent communication skills because of daily contact with managers and employees.
  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug test and a reference check.

 

Physical Demands:

 

  • Require to sit, type, grasp, have eye/hand/foot coordination occasionally walk, kneel, reach, stand, lift, and carry.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds.
  • This position works in a typical office, manufacturing, and lab environment.
  • Clarity of vision including the ability to appropriately differentiate colors.
  • Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.
