Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably within the wine industry
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field. MBA/CPA strongly preferred
- Strong ability to navigate bank relationships and negotiations
- Deep understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles and tax laws
- Proven track record of managing complex financial operations and driving profitability
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- Proficient in Microsoft and financial software, experience with Business Central a plus
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to large and small groups
- Must be able to juggle multiple projects and priorities and the ability to work independently
- A self-starter who thrives in challenging, fast-paced environments and embraces change as an opportunity for growth
- Comfortable working in both strategic and tactical roles – from high-level planning to rolling up your sleeves and diving into the details.
- 20% Travel Required (Domestic and International)
- Remote/Hybrid Option
- Prior knowledge of working with French Based companies and the ability to speak or understand French a plus
Comp & Benefits:
- Salary Range for the CFO Position:
- $250,000-$300,000 + Bonus
- Benefits:
