Abode Communities is at an inflection point, with a unique opportunity for growth. The Talent & Culture team is being elevated and modernized to meet the organization's future needs, and this Senior Manager role will be integral in shaping that evolution. As the Senior Manager of Talent & Culture, you will be a key leader, second to the Associate Vice President, Talent & Culture (AVP, T+C), responsible for executing the Talent & Culture team's workplan and managing the day-to-day operations of the function. You will operationalize the AVP’s strategic vision and ensure the effective delivery of Talent & Culture programs and services that empower our employees and drive organizational success.
Here's how you'll make a difference:
- Strategic Leadership & Execution:Â Translate the AVP's strategic vision into actionable plans, contributing to the development of Talent & Culture strategies that align with Abode Communities' overall goals. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our programs and initiatives, providing regular updates and reports to the AVP.
- Team Leadership & Management:Â Supervise and mentor the Talent & Culture team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Delegate tasks effectively, provide guidance and support, and conduct performance evaluations to promote professional development.
- Talent Acquisition & Development:Â Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring we attract and retain top talent. Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies, assess training needs, and manage the performance management process.
- Employee Relations & Compliance:Â Manage employee relations issues, ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and develop and maintain Talent & Culture policies and procedures.
- HR Operations & Technology:Â Oversee the effective use of our HRIS (Paycom), analyze HR data, and assist in the development and management of the Talent & Culture budget.
