CVR is seeking applicants to fill an Associate position, which will provide a range of technical and administrative functions to support various existing affordable housing engagements. This position will be based in CVR’s Atlanta office, which is located in Alpharetta, GA
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and manages project planning and management tools for multiple concurrent projects, including project schedules, action items, deliverables and deadlines
- Facilitates project meetings and recurring team calls
- Organizes and maintains project files and appropriate documentation
- Assists in the production and submission of project reports, presentations, proposals, procurement documents, client Board resolutions, and HUD submissions
- Supervises, directs, and trains relevant project staff, as assigned, to ensure proper compliance with applicable regulations, project and client requirements including appropriate productivity and quality standards of work completed
- Communicates with CVR senior and project staff, senior and mid-level client staff, sub-consultants, federal and state officials, local stakeholders, and affordable housing program applicants, participants, and landlords, as appropriate and necessary
- Identifies issues or concerns in a timely manner, gathers all relevant information and analysis, and recommends and/or implements solutions with proper documentation of results
- Analyzes and interprets project qualitative and quantitative data, budgets, and third-party reports
- Analyzes and reviews applicable legislation, regulations and guidance affecting projects
- Complies with required federal policies and procedures related to all aspects of project administration and development implementation and initiatives
- Increases job performance capacity through training and proactively seeks opportunities to expand job-related knowledge
- Has the ability to travel on occasion, should an assigned project require on-site tasks
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills (preferred, but not required)
- Knowledge of Housing Authority structures, processes, and systems of record
- Knowledge of the following programs: Housing Choice Voucher Program, Rental Assistance Demonstration Program, Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program, Public Housing, Project-based Vouchers
