Are you an organized, people-focused HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? CVR is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to support our growing team and help shape the employee experience from start to finish.
This position is based onsite in our White Plains, NY office, with additional support provided remotely to our Alpharetta, GA and Buffalo, NY locations (this position is onsite in White Plains, NY, only). As an HR Generalist at CVR, you’ll be at the center of it all—recruiting, onboarding, benefits, compliance, employee relations, and everything in between. You’ll work closely with employees, managers, and leadership to make sure our people feel supported, heard, and set up for success. What You’ll Do:

Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding

Administer employee benefits, leave policies, and support open enrollment

Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, FLSA, E-Verify, and other employment regulations

Conduct background checks and employment verifications

Track and support mandatory trainings and certifications

Maintain HRIS data, personnel files, and internal reporting

Respond to employee and manager questions with clarity and care

Support performance management, employee relations, and disciplinary processes

Assist with short- and long-term disability, workers' compensation, and separation paperwork
What You’ll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, OR 4+ years of HR experience

Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices

Experience with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion

A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with a drive to continuously improve systems and processes
