Our dedicated team is committed to making a difference in the lives of individuals and families. We are seeking passionate and detail-oriented Housing Specialists to support our Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program.

 

Job Overview
The Owner Services Liaison Responsible for being the link between Housing Choice Voucher Program participating owners and the Chicago Housing Authority. Acts as a liaison between HCV owners assisting them in navigating the program to assist in a positive partnership.

This position requires a compassionate and dedicated professional who can navigate complex housing systems, advocate for clients, and provide resources to support their housing needs. The Owner Liaison works closely with various stakeholders, including clients, landlords, and owners, to ensure compliance with housing regulations and promote access to affordable housing options.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of customer issues and follow problems through to resolution
  • Assist and/or encourage landlords to list their property with Go Section 8
  • Troubleshoot landlord inquiries as it relates to having multiple properties/tenants on the HCVP
  • Enters data into computer as necessary
  • Utilizes information gathered from research to accurately, properly and timely close out sales force tickets
  • Serve as a point of contact for resolving escalated issues and concerns of owners
  • Assist owners in the completion of program documentation
  • Address customer service inquiries.
  • Resolve inquiries received via mail, email, and fax
  • Complete Salesforce cases for Owner Services, meeting the goals set by management.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

  • Associates degree.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Four (4) year of previous experience working with the public in a Housing Choice Voucher Program or similar program.
  • Critical Thinking Skills and Analysis
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficient in basic math and calculations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proven ability to meet productivity goals while maintaining high accuracy.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Sales Experience
  • Bilingual candidates are strongly preferred.
