Want to join our Team? We are currently looking for a dedicated Integrated Care Support (ICS) member to join our team. As an ICS you will provide a blend of administrative, operational and direct patient support services. This role supports both the logistical and caregiving aspects of patient care. Responsibilities include managing daily administrative processes such as a visitor tracking, census updates, supply coordination, internal communication as well as assisting with persona care serviced in accordance with individualized care plans developed by the nursing staff. 

 

Office Location: Pasadena, MD

Coverage Area: Anne Arundel & Charles Counties

Status: Full-time Monday – Friday 9:30am – 6:00pm

Salary: $22.00/hour        

       

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Administrative Support & Documentation

  • Assist with report preparation and maintain both electronic and physical files.
  • Prepare clinical documentation for review and ensure appropriate signatures and submission.
  • Manage voicemail and email communications, ensuring timely response and follow-up.
  • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and faxes.
  • Prepare and send condolence correspondence; maintain tracking systems as needed.

 

Clinical Team Coordination

  • Assist in monitoring productivity and supporting compliance with documentation standards.

 

Inventory & Supply Management

  • Perform routine inventory checks in designated storage areas.
  • Order, receive, and organize office and clinical supplies.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure accurate storage of medical-related items.
  • Monitor delivery schedules, manage disposal procedures, and track supply usage.

 

Facility & Safety Oversight

  • Conduct routine facility inspections and report maintenance issues.
  • Assist with audits of equipment and hygiene practices; document and communicate results.
  • Track and follow up on facility service requests to ensure timely resolution.

 

Patient & Family Support

  • Help maintain a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients and visitors.
  • Provide hospitality support including refreshments and basic comfort items.
  • Assist with light food preparation or other supportive tasks as needed.

 

Shipping, Mailing & Communication

  • Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate pick-ups or deliveries as required.
  • Manage internal mail delivery and support external correspondence processes.
  • Monitor designated communication lines and escalate issues when necessary.

 

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and documentation standards.
  • Attend required training sessions and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Your Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • 2 years of experience in a healthcare or hospice environment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, EMR and cloud-based storage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. 
  • Compassionate, service-oriented approach to patient and family care.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Moderate lifting of material in a general office environment - eight-hour workday, ability to sit, stand, walk and speak on the telephone. Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
