Education and Experience:
- 1 year of experience evaluating property and casualty risks
- Experience presenting risk improvement opportunities in a manner that achieves customer buy-in and recommendation compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field including business, engineering, safety, risk management or 4 or more years’ experience working in insurance, risk management, property/construction management or a related field
Skills:
- Possess familiarity with local and national building and fire codes.
- Excellent time management skills
- Professional attitude and superior people skills
Other Requirements:
- Ability to operate a vehicle with valid driver’s license in good standing
- Ability to climb stairs and/or ladders to investigate properties

The salary range for this role is $57,600-$102,300. The listed annual salary range posted for this position is subject to change and may vary depending on performance, education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, demonstrated proficiency in the competencies required for the role and business needs. Base pay is just one component of GNY’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
