FITNESS INSTRUCTOR/PERSONAL TRAINER

Provide exceptional fitness services to high end clientele at Clear Creek Tahoe, a premier private golf course community. Seeking a qualified instructor to teach classes, personal train, and lead occasional outdoor pursuits. Flexible schedule, hours vary based on demand. Seeking motivated individual with great energy, who would like to build out training clientele.

Highly competitive compensation- up to $90/hour in commissions for personal training, class rates vary depending on specialty. Minimum wage additional base pay.

Modalities include, but are not limited, to: exercise prescription for a range of population needs (boot camp, HIIT, sculpt/strength, TRX, metabolic conditioning, etc) in a group training environment. The ideal candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs and must be able to adequately demonstrate exercises.

1. Ensures that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest-friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every guest and by maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest services.
2. Implements and maintains guest service standards, and high level of professional service per group training standards and protocols.
3. Picks up gym and cleans equipment as necessary between sessions and upon finishing service.
4. Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Education and Experience

1. Degree in related field preferred (Exercise/Sport Science, Kinesiology, etc) or minimum of three years' experience as personal trainer (working in a private club setting a plus).

Preferred Education and Experience

1. ACSM, NASM, NSCA and/or other personal training certification preferred.
