Description

Caldwell Energy is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to join their growing team. 

Provide general purchasing assistance for the Purchasing Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Build a reliable supplier network.
  • Type purchase orders and order materials for Storeroom, MRO & Safety.
  • Make buying decisions to meet the diverse needs of each point of the supply chain.
  • Print open order reports and track material, and problem solve to ensure delivery dates are met;
  • Match and Scan receiving documents in to Timberscan and file PO’s;
  • Maintain the mill certs data base, compile document packages when applicable and file;
  • Order office supplies and business cards;
  • Provide routine administrative support.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience:  College degree preferred, and 2 years of experience preferred.

 Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents and; internal and external company product or equipment drawings. 

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multipy, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
