Job Summary - The Co-op Experience:
The Codonics Co-op Program has been enriching students for over 20 years. We provide a real-world work experience designing and developing state-of-the-art technology regulated by the FDA. Our co-op program has provided full time employment for many students upon graduation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform testing on all Codonics products by running established test procedures.
- Identify and investigate defects found in the testing process.
- Prepare documentation and reports related to testing activities.
- Develop testing software or hardware to improve or automate the testing process.
- Participate in normal departmental planning and status meetings.
- Additional duties may include participation in electrical, mechanical, and media testing efforts.
- Any and other duties as assigned.

- Stressing mechanical components (force, temperature, pressure, chemical
- Overdriving: electrically, hard stops, windup, prolonged loading
- Familiar with computer systems and networking
- Familiar with UNIX or Linux operating systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with other engineers
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to manage and organize large amounts of data.
Education and/or Experience:
- Computer Science, Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical or other Engineering Student
