Summer Activity Camp - Pickleball Camp Instructor (Queen Anne Community Center)

If you have youth programming experience and a fundamental knowledge of the sport of Pickleball, Associated Recreation Council (ARC) has a role for you as an Activity Camp Instructor for Pickleball Camp. This is a seasonal part-time role running from July 7th to August 4th, 2025.

ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, serves Seattle by offering access to licensed childcare and a variety of recreational and lifelong learning programs, classes, and activities. In this role, the Activity Camp Instructor will be responsible for programming and delivering a Pickleball Camp class to kids aged 5-12 years. The instructor will be responsible for creating lessons and teaching the fundamentals of pickleball. The instructor must have the ability to engage with a diverse group of children and manage a classroom of students. A passion for teaching and pickleball are a must! 

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 9am – 11am

Pickleball Activity Camp Instructor duties and responsibilities include:

  • Deliver developmentally appropriate activity camp lesson plans/activities in the subject area of pickleball for ages 5-12
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all participants
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure participant compliance

Pickleball Activity Camp Instructor requirements include:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Prior youth programming experience required
  • Fundamental knowledge of the sport of pickleball required
  • Preference given to instructors available for all or most of the summer, however, if you can only work for some of the summer weeks, you are still encouraged to apply

 

Pay:

  • Starting pay: $24.50
  • Full Pay Range: $24.50 - $26.50/hour
