We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Director to join our School-Age Care Program team. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with strong leadership and organizational skills who is passionate about creating a positive, enriching environment for children ages 5–12. The Assistant Director will support the overall operation of the program, assist in supervising staff, and play a key role in developing and leading activities that engage and inspire.

School-age Care Assistant Director duties and responsibilities include:
- Supervise and mentor program staff, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for children and staff
- Assist with planning, organizing, and implementing developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum
- Communicate effectively and professionally with children, families, staff, and community partners
- Help manage scheduling, supplies, and administrative tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, safety guidelines, and organizational policies
- Provide leadership and day-to-day support to staff and participants in the absence or support of the Director
School-Age Care Assistant Director Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Have a minimum of 35 college credits
- Experience working in youth development, childcare, education, or a related field
- Minimum of one-year of supervisory experience
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday up to 35 hours per week during the school year and up to 40 hours during the summer.
- Daily schedule will be determined by the Director and subject to change (i.e. split shift) due to program/season and business needs
- Hiring by Date: As soon as possible
Pay:
- Starting pay: $25.00
- Full Pay Range: $25.00-31.25/hr (Over time, the employee in this role may earn up to $31.25/hr with additional years of service)

The new hire signing bonus will be paid out in three (3) installments.
- $200 after the successful completion of 30 days of employment
- $200 after the successful completion of 60 days of employment
- $200 after the successful completion of 90 days of employment
