Job Purpose: The Graphics Coordinator plays a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the visual identity of our brand across digital, print, and retail channels within the firearms and tactical industry. This creative and detail-oriented professional collaborates with marketing, product, and sales teams to develop compelling, on-brand visual assets that support product launches, e-commerce, social media, packaging, and dealer communications. The Graphics Coordinator ensures all content adheres to brand standards and industry-specific compliance requirements, while balancing creative execution with organizational precision and timely delivery. This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, culturally aware, and legally nuanced environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Graphic Design & Visual Content

  • Create product graphics, promotional banners, print ads, email headers, trade show materials, packaging mockups, and more
  • Develop layout templates for internal and dealer-facing assets (sell sheets, spec cards, catalogs, etc.)
  • Collaborate on photo editing and composition using studio and range photography
  • Maintain clean file organization, templates, and version control across projects

Digital & E-Commerce Design

  • Design website assets, hero images, product thumbnails, and UI banners for e-commerce and landing pages
  • Support creative for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Rumble), including stories, posts, and reels thumbnails
  • Assist with asset production for paid ad campaigns and email marketing

Brand Integrity & Compliance

  • Ensure all assets meet branding standards (color, font, logo placement, etc.) and platform-specific requirements (especially regarding restricted firearm content)
  • Prepare files for dealer use, including co-branded or white-labeled versions where needed
  • Coordinate with legal or compliance teams as needed to ensure visuals do not violate ATF, ITAR, or platform policies

Project Coordination

  • Track asset deadlines and deliverables using project management tools.
  • Coordinate with external vendors (printers, photographers, freelance designers) as needed
  • Support the Creative Director in ensuring smooth handoff and delivery of assets for events, launches, or seasonal campaigns

Other

  • Thorough understanding of firearm mechanics, operations, and safety protocol
  • Proficiency in industry-standard terminology and nomenclature
  • Must be able to enthusiastically represent firearms products without ethical conflict for the purposes of law enforcement, self-defense, competition and hunting (both subsistence and trophy).
  • Maintain personal and professional networks as appropriate for your position.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Timely and regular attendance is required to ensure work flow is not interrupted.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist all employees in department in completing their work when necessary.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and ability required.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • An associate degree or certificate in graphic design with substantial relevant experience will also be considered.
  • A strong design portfolio demonstrating proficiency in both digital and print mediums is required and may substitute for formal education in some cases.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 2–3+ years of experience in graphic design, production design, or marketing support (experience in firearms/outdoor/lifestyle brands preferred)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); bonus: Premiere Pro or After Effects
  • Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, layout, and branding
  • Familiarity with digital and print production requirements (file formats, resolutions, color profiles)
  • Organized, deadline-driven, and detail-focused — especially in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work autonomously while taking creative direction and feedback
  • Must be punctual, meticulous and reliable.
 

 

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Experience creating graphics for firearms, tactical gear, or shooting sports industries
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g. Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce)
  • Experience working with photography or videography teams
  • Understanding of social media content formats and firearm platform restrictions
  • Basic understanding of firearm components and terminology (e.g., AR platform, optics, suppressors)
  • Multilingual abilities is a plus

Travel Requirements

  • Less than 5% of time

Additional Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to legally possess firearms under applicable laws.
  • Must know basic firearms safety.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background test and drug test.
  • Ability to work overtime when required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:

The following are the physical requirements of this position, which all workers filling the position must be able to do or withstand each day:

  • Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
