JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for developing and maintaining frontline deposit related processes and manuals, providing support to the frontline, and conducting follow up and on the job training as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Be proficient in deposit related products, processes and procedures.
- Stay informed with up to date information regarding deposit regulations.
- Responsible for maintaining the FSR Deposit Manual, and communicating changes in regulations and processes to the front line staff as well as administrative staff, as needed.
- Providing direction/assistance – Answer various questions for FSR’s and other employee’s.
- Continually evaluate deposit processes looking for ways to create more efficiencies.
- Facilitate FSR Meetings, communicating updates and helpful information.
- Assist with implementing WKFS form updates.
- Maintain new account packets utilized for Online Account Opening.
- Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity
- Maintain the Banking Center Services deposit related section in the Centurion Online Planning Expert platform, including the Process/Resources and Document Library.
- Prepare and send out Disaster Recovery assignments to FSR’s quarterly, reviewing documentation for accuracy and following up with needed corrections.
- Prepare quarterly Disaster Recovery Report.
- Keep Disaster Recovery shared files and physical boxes updated with most current forms.
- Keep training curriculum and tools up to date.
- Prepare and provide training on deposit related products, procedures and regulations, including on the job and follow up training as needed.
- Provide training due to mergers, acquisitions and system conversions.
- Monitor FSR Exception reports, to identify areas where additional training is needed.
- Consult with other departments to identify training needs.
- Safe Deposit Boxes
- Provide training to FSR’s and Tellers.
- Assist with on-site audits.
- Address areas of concern found during audits.
- Cross-train on other Deposit Administration positions and provide back up as needed.
- Other duties as assigned to include assisting with various projects.
- Must be able to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
- Effectively work and cooperate with supervisors, co-workers and customers.
- Follow the direction of the supervisor.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of banking experience preferred.
- 3 years of new account experience preferred.
- Proficient computer skills with experience in Windows Applications, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, 10 key and typing skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:
- Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
- Frequent lifting (up to 25 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment).
- Driving to other bank locations.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Normal office environment.
- Driving to other bank locations is required.
