JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assisting and providing support for all Loan Risk Team Members in roles related to Loan Risk Management, including, but not limited to, Appraisal Administration, Review of Adverse Actions and Withdrawal Reports and Loan File Compliance Review of all loan types.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Learn requirements of federal and state regulations and First Bank & Trust procedures of the Loan Risk Department.

  • Assist Appraisal Administrator in all phases of the appraisal ordering and reviewing processes for all requests to ensure timely, accurate receipts of appraisal reports.

  • Process applications submitted for adverse action notices or withdrawals.

  • Assist with review of all loan files for compliance prior to submission to scanning department.

  • Back up Beneficial Ownership Documentation. 

  • Back up Flood Certification.

  • Ability to prioritize, multi task and manage rapidly changing assignments is necessary.

  • Must be able to meet attendance and punctuality standards.

  • Effectively work and cooperate with team members.

  • Follow the direction of the Loan Risk Manager.

  • Perform other duties and projects as required by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:

  • High School Education required

  • Previous banking experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office applications, keyboarding skills, 10- key.

  • Knowledge of Xperience and Synergy a plus.

  • Real Estate or Appraisal related background ideal.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:

  • Sitting for long periods; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; verbal communication; hearing and visual acuity.

  • Frequent lifting (up to 25 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment).

  • Occasional travel as needed.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office environment.
