Our employees ensure data communications networks are engineered, manufactured, deployed to the highest standards, enabling faster and more reliable connectivity to communities worldwide. Every member of the SubCom team plays a role in an end-to-end process that is critical to enterprises, governments, big cities, and rural towns.

We encourage, expect, and value creativity, thoughtful risk taking, openness to change, and diverse perspectives. • Developing/updating job aids, work instructions and planning guides,
  • Updating Bill of Materials (BOM) sheets with changing product/supplier/price information,
  • Desktop survey and historical report of all shore ends quality issues and statistical analysis (% attributed to various failure modes and reasons)
  • This intern may update our internal pull calculation methodology and template plus guides for using existing calc software and Cable-supplier equations to determine tensions through non-straight routes.
  • Studying the reasons our Documentation unit has on file for failure of installations and why we’ve had to return to sites and rebuild/replace/repair installations.
  • Researching industry standard buried utility separation guides such as National Electric Code and document these as rigor behind our request to separate cables and OGBs from buried utilities would be helpful.
