Qualifications
- Interns follow the lead of staff engineers writing, debugging, and maintaining software on Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems using National Instruments Labwindows/CVI (ANSI C), TestStand test executive, and Linux C environments.
- Interns should be familiar with software development Integrated Development Environments and will learn to develop automated functional test code and routines based on sound engineering and laboratory practices.
- Typically Test Software Engineering Interns are sophomore, junior, or senior students enrolled in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science curriculums matriculating towards Bachelor of Science degrees.
- Interns are expected to have exposure to laboratory test instruments and understand laboratory procedures and practices.
