Position Overview: The IT Application Architect is responsible for providing daily support for the Oracle Enterprise Business Suite. This position entails ongoing maintenance and enhancement of our core project accounting and financial accounting platforms with a strong command of IT skills, practical business & functional expertise in Professional Services Automation, and an understanding of financial application architecture for Oracle. Partners with various departments across the organization to enhance and improve our End-to-End solution which includes Oracle EBS and Microsoft. Provide daily guidance and support to operational and functional teams and lead in future improvements and integration projects. Act as a liaison between IT and Vendor development groups and Business Units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of current systems. 

 

Responsibilities

· Lead the business in planning for and the execution of Oracle EBS process and application improvements.

· Work closely with business users to understand these requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

· Project manages the delivery of new projects or enhancements.

· Define and document system architecture for modules such as Financials, SCM, Projects and other applications that integrate with Oracle EBS.

· Ensure solution alignment with enterprise architecture principles and IT strategies.

· Provide technical leadership and guidance to the business, development and support teams.

· Work with the business users and remediate any production-related issues on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or accounting or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum 12 years’ experience in business management software and applications with progressive technical support experience including system planning, design, audits, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Functional experience configuring Oracle EBS, Costpoint Core modules, including Time & Expense.
  • BI Report writing experience with Deltek Cognos Reports; capable of writing new or editing existing reports using Cognos Analytics 10 or 11 with the Deltek CER framework or other reporting applications such as Snowflake, Tableau or Power BI.
  • Excellent problem identification, analysis and solving skills with strong problem-solving capabilities, particularly bridging IT and Accounting.
  • Exceptional project management skills with ability to effectively collaborate with all levels within the organization.

Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance. On-call availability outside of normal working hours.
