Qualifications
- Experience in negotiations, managing the P/L of projects, strategy development/implementation, risk management, and contract management a must
- Experience in managing large cross functional projects or leading a team on undersea or construction projects. Experience matrix-managing a team is useful.
- Understanding of contract language
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems within own position, across organizations, and with customers
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required
- International and domestic travel to support customer meetings as needed
- BA/BS degree in an Engineering, Business, or technical discipline; and up to 5 years related work experience
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects while meeting contractual and organizational commitments
- Excellent communication, verbal, presentation and written skills
- Ability to work well in matrix-style teams with persons from different organizations, job types and cultural backgrounds
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to complete assignments with little supervisory oversite
- Excellent communication and coaching skills at all levels from the shop floor to top management, including the ability to speak, read and write fluently in English.
- Strong team leader, ability to think strategically and execute tactically to deliver results
- Analytically, data-driven and a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to have a holistic overview of complex situations and flexibility to deal effectively with difficult issues when they arise
- Must have experience with the efficient uses of office tools such as MS Outlook, Excel PowerPoint, Teams
- Must be able to lead and communicate in both face-to-face and virtual environments
