Audio Engineer On-Call Level 2

JOB SUMMARY: This role supports the Worship Team by mixing audio for live services, streaming, and recordings, while coordinating event setup and production needs under the Audio Manager to ensure alignment with Cottonwood’s values and standards.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute tasks in coordination with the Worship Team to help ensure a cohesive presentation of Cottonwood’s values and production standards into the live production, streaming, and recording of audio content
• Live mixing for Services includes large and medium-scale events (FOH, MON, and Broadcast) in different locations
• Maintain quality assurance mechanisms for Audio Production
• Under the Audio Manager, coordinate and adhere to the needs of the Worship Team
• Under the Audio Manager, coordinate audio needs for all live events
• Recording and editing weekly services
• Event setup, operation, strike, and resets

JOB SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of previous paid audio experience
• Familiarity and competence in digital routing to Dante Level 1 and Q-Sys user
• Previous paid audio experience as A1, A2 (FOH, MON, and/or Broadcast)
• Knowledge of large format Audio Systems and related equipment (e.g., recording, RF planning, troubleshooting)
• Knowledge and experience with the functions and operations of audio engineering for both live and studio applications
• Knowledge and experience with the processes of production and creative development for live audio mixing
• Team Player
