Responsibilities:
Listen to the Customer
- Build a rapport with guests, be active in assisting, and communicating requests
- Assist in maintaining the guest eye view behind the bar
- Support the bar team by ensuring quick and efficient service, utilizing a strong knowledge of in-house cocktails and menu offerings to assist with restocking, preparing garnishes, and maintaining a smooth workflow to meet guest needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests to ensure seamless service and satisfaction.
Be Respectful of Company Resources
- Manage stock effectively, ensuring accurate counts and proper storage to maintain inventory levels and reduce wastage.
- Adhere to cleaning and delivery procedures to protect company resources and ensure a safe, organized workspace.
Show Urgency
- Report for all scheduled shifts punctually, in proper attire and to proper health and hygiene standards
- Efficiently change kegs, cut fruit, and restock depleted product quickly
- Complete opening, closing, and running duties as assigned each shift
Create Positive Energy
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment by training new barbacks and encouraging teamwork.
- Maintain a positive attitude during service, contributing to an enjoyable and professional atmosphere for both guests and staff.
Must be able to pass exams with a 90% or better in each of the following categories:
- All issued training testing throughout employment
Requirements & Minimum Qualifications
- Current food handlers and alcohol certification maintained through employment
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience preferably within a high-volume environment
- Available to work various shift times and days, including weekends and holidays
- Able to stand and/ or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to lift over 50+ lbs. if necessary
- Authorized to legally work in the US
