We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the Sauce Team Member role at our food manufacturing facility 18675 Madrone Pkwy, Morgan Hill, CA 95037. The primary responsibilities of this role is assist in the preparation and assembly of a wide variety of sauces used in cooked meals, appetizers, and other dishes. This position is responsible for ensuring the consistent quality of all sauces while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards throughout daily operations. The Sauce Team Member will also assist with other food production tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency and cleanliness of the food production
What will you be doing:
- Ability to consistently execute tasks according to SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) for the production center as trained.
- Ability to perform basic food safety practices in the production center with a high degree of attention to detail and internal customer service.
- Ability to follow the First Expired First Out (“FEFO”) and First In First Out (“FIFO”) system.
- Ability to perform and understand basic units of measure, conversions and expiration and lot dates (example: how to read and understand lot tags, unit of measures, and understanding where to find expiration and lot dates).
- Ensures compliance with good manufacturing procedures relating to time, temperature, documentation and following all proper food handling and food safety protocols with a high level of quality.
- Adhere proper sanitation as it relates to kitchen and equipment cleanliness, organization, allergen controls, and elimination of any potential cross contamination.
- Ability to demonstrate accurate and safe use of basic warehouse equipment including but not limited giraffe mixer, robot coupe stick blender and high speed labeler.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
