Warehouse Associate Level 1

We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the Warehouse Associate Level 1 role at our food manufacturing facility in Morgan Hill, CA. The primary responsibilities of this role is performing a variety of functions such as but not limited to: assembling and packing meal boxes, preparing food and ingredients, building, insulating meal boxes and processing all returns as assigned by their lead and/ or general manager.

What will you be doing: 

• Prepare and store food items in the preparation “prep” area according to weekly recipe specifications for packing.
• Measure, weigh, and containerize ingredients, produce and proteins for packing and storing 
• Assemble a variety of boxes such as but not limited to: building boxes, inserting meal packages, insulating boxes, adding labels and or recipes.
• Label and pack prepared items into curated meal bags and store them in boxes per order requests.
• Provide administrative support with labels, stickers and organizing menu cards.
• Facilitate receiving and shipping in the area of Operations.
• Follow all safety and good manufacturing practices at all times.
• Maintain an orderly and safe environment in the workspace area. 
• Work responsibly and safely at all times. Report any unsafe or hazardous conditions immediately to the department lead and or supervisor.  
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Who you are and why you're right for us:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience with food handling, warehouse operations or related field preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and or in a group environment
• Ability to add, subtract, read and fully understand English manuals
• Excellent oral and written communication skills 
• Detail oriented, hard- worker and team player
• Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment (-9º- 42º) for 8 or more hours and in some instances, in a dark environment
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, long hours and weekends as needed
