You will troubleshoot, inspect, test, repair, clean, service aircraft components, equipment, and assemblies (Flight control surfaces, TRs, Engine Cowls, composites, and mechanical components) per Customer/FAA/EASA requirements/rules/regulations and approved data. Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures. Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, repairs, and alterations to approved technical data.
Responsibilities:
- Techs will be required to sign for work accomplished including troubleshooting, maintenance items, and ensure proper recording of all maintenance/repair tasks on company documents.
- Techs will perform all tasks assigned by Lead Mechanics, or higher management.
- Properly tag all repairable components.
- Ensures that all repair work is performed according to procedures and per correct document revision
- Comply with all company rules, regulations, and procedures set forth in company manuals and policies.
- Keep a constant watch for safety, excessive cost of labor duplication, ensure proper and adequate equipment is used, acceptable parts or components are installed, and approved hardware or supplies are used.
- Techs will be responsible for keeping the work area clean and may be required to maintain or repair company property from time to time.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships and collaboration with other employees.
- Develop personal skills for continuous improvement.
