An I79 Welcome Center Worker performs custodial and maintenance operations for the purpose of maintaining the WV Welcome Center in a safe, attractive, clean, sanitary, and operable manner.
Areas maintained are: rest area service buildings, inside/outside of utility storage buildings, vending buildings, information shelters, on-site water and sewage disposal systems, grounds and parking areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in training in grounds maintenance safety protocols required, including proper use of PPE
- Recognize and report potential safety hazards as trained
- Clean/sanitize public restrooms according to the given procedures and schedules
- Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance at all times; wear the PACE uniform
- Provide information to motorists such as directions, how to get emergency assistance, locations of service stations.
- Adhere to all policies such as the smoking policy and call-off policy
