Description

To assist the management and users in the effective operation of Opera, Micros, PCs, and other systems. Act as a service center for all IT matters. Monitor and control the usage of direct lines. Plan and implement technology-related processes, systems, and telecommunications. Maintain IT systems, manage software and hardware, and provide 24-hour coverage for the hotel. Produce strategic and tactical IT business plans, capital, and operating budgets. Conduct relevant periodic training and refresher training courses for the users.

 

primary responsibilities:

  • Answer e-mails & Calls concerning I.T. Matters.
  • Should be available 24 hrs on call.
  • Ensure smooth operation of all IT systems, networks, and applications.
  • Manage hardware and software installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Oversee hotel PMS, POS, IPTV, PBX, and Wi-Fi systems.
  • Monitor IT performance and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Coordinate with I.T. Corporate Office.
  • Attend tasks and projects assigned by the Cluster Director of IT.
  • Coordinates with all departments; call meetings.
  • Monitor and control usage of direct line.
  • Provide technical support for hotel staff and guests.
  • Train hotel employees in IT best practices and security awareness.
  • Develop IT SOPs for daily operations.
  • Coordinates with project layout and electrical cabling.
  • Reviews of existing procedures.
  • Reviews user rights.
  • Plan and implement technology-related processes, systems, and telecommunications.
  • Produce strategic, tactical IT business plans, capital & operating budgets.
  • Analyze software and hardware problems to detect/correct deficiencies, malfunctions, and irregularities.
  • Implement security measures to protect guest and company data.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, GDPR, and local data protection laws.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
  • Maintain backup and disaster recovery plans.
  • Manage IT service providers, contracts, and software licenses.
  • Plan and control IT budgets for the cluster.
  • Assess and recommend new technology solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Lead IT projects for system upgrades, migrations, and new hotel openings.
  • Implement corporate digital strategies (e.g., mobile check-in, cloud solutions).
  • Work with the corporate IT team to align hotel IT with company goals.
  • Report on the status of IT operations to the Cluster Director of IT.
  • Evaluate and define hotel and user requirements to determine the feasibility of requested enhancements.
  • Liaise with hotel management and corporate IT teams.
  • Prepare IT reports on system performance, security incidents, and budget usage.
  • Ensure IT aligns with hotel operations and enhances the guest experience.
  • Installation of software and hardware upgrades, compliance with Dusit Corporate, and legal requirements related to software licensing agreements.
  • Focus on future business needs and profitability.
  • Develop training programs to increase user knowledge of systems to ensure high computer proficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with established procedures, systems security, contingency plans, internal controls, and standards.
  • Schedule routine preventive maintenance and daily clerical functions regarding the integrity of computer systems.
