Description

Assist the IT supervisor and users with the operation of Opera, Micros, networking, telephones, PCs, and other systems. Conduct periodic training and refresher courses for users. Monitor and manage the usage of software and hardware resources. Troubleshoot issues in Opera, Micros, and other systems. Provide support to users in their daily operations.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide troubleshooting support for both staff and guests.
  • Maintain and update the checklist and Preventive Maintenance report of hotel computers.
  • Conduct capacity checks on all computers during the low season.
  • Inspect the hotel's telephone system regularly.
  • Adhere to management's policies and procedures diligently.
  • Maintain and support the hotel's IT systems, including servers, networks, and Wi-Fi.
  • Ensure system uptime and optimal performance across all hotels in the cluster.
  • Manage hardware and software installations, updates, and maintenance.
  • Oversee Property Management System (PMS), Point of Sale (POS), and other hotel applications.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Train hotel staff on IT systems, cybersecurity, and best practices.
  • Offer on-call support for urgent IT issues.
  • Document IT policies and procedures for easy reference.
