SUMMARY:
The Casino Service Representative 1 (CSR 1) is responsible for performing various duties relative to cashiering, tribal lottery system (TLS) services, and marketing and promotions in accordance with the Lucky Dog Casino Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
DEPARTMENTAL ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver outstanding guest service as a priority.
- Perform accurate transaction reconciliation and documentation.
- Appropriate usage of approved forms and software to account for currency transactions.
- Redemption of gaming machine tickets.
- Establish and monitor guest check cashing limits.
- Accurately conduct third party transactions for cash advances and debit transactions.
- Exchange checks and/or cash equivalent for currency.
- Maintain confidentiality of casino and player information.
- Circulates throughout assigned area, maintaining visibility, and providing service for guests within that area.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and safety within the gaming area.
- Resolve and/or direct guest disputes to the appropriate party.
- Responsible for issuing handpays of applicable slot jackpots and malfunctions and completing required paperwork.
- Responsible to verify the Vault when required.
- Create new Player Club accounts within the player tracking system, issue Player Club cards, explain features of the card, and answer any questions regarding the program.
- Understand and explain monthly promotions and benefits of all marketing programs to guest and team members.
- Accurately complete and submit all required federal, state, and tribal forms when awarding prizes.
- As directed, assign club members appropriate prizes and awards within the Casino Management system.
- Assist with execution of special events and promotions, including dispensing prizes and organizing players.
- Responsible for selected maintenance and repairs of gaming devices, including contacting vendors for assistance as directed by the CSR Supervisor or Manager on Duty.
- Meet attendance guidelines by reporting to work as scheduled with dependability and consistency.
- Promote and encourage positive guest relations.
- Represent the company in a positive manner.
- Maintain professional dress standards and personal appearance as dictated by the policy manual.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required and one (1) year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Read, write, speak and understand English. Read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other team members of the organization. Organizational, interpersonal relation skills and a team-oriented attitude are required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals, compute rate, ratio, and percent.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Must have working knowledge of computers and be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.
REASONING ABILITY:
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Class III gaming license issued from the Skokomish Tribal Gaming Commission, and a valid Washington State Drivers License.
