Qualifications, Experience and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years in a technical role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in interpreting GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Solid understanding of manufacturing systems, production techniques, and engineering fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with machining, assembly, deburring, and secondary operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis tools, and project planning software.
- Solid mathematical skills, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and statistics.
- Ability to deconstruct complex data and solve problems creatively within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and lead projects effectively.
- Experience with ERP or MES systems a plus.
- Exposure to Six Sigma or other quality control methodologies a plus.
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent process improvement credentials a plus.
