The Print Production Specialist will operate wide-format inkjet equipment, execute print and cut workflows, and print and assemble swatch books or samples. This role involves hands-on training, media testing, and collaboration with technical teams to enhance product and workflow quality. The specialist will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, contributing to print production excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate print and cut workflows using wide-format inkjet printers and XY cutters (e.g., Fotoba)
  • Assemble, collate, and bind swatch books to support sales and product development efforts
  • Assist with hands-on training sessions and customer demonstrations in the Experience Center or remotely
  • Evaluate media performance by testing compatibility across print technologies and documenting results
  • Create high-quality print samples for trade shows, customer programs, and internal teams
  • Support ICC profile development and optimize RIP settings in collaboration with color specialists
  • Document and improve printing, cutting, and binding processes to increase workflow efficiency
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to support new media testing, product launches, and R&D initiatives

 

 

 

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience using wide-format inkjet printers in a print production environment
  • Hands-on experience with XY cutting equipment, such as Fotoba or similar roll-to-roll cutters
  • Proficiency in Onyx RIP software, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Experience in swatch book creation or finishing workflows is desirable
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn and improve
