Warehouse Specialist - Day Shift

Position Summary

As a Warehouse Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that product is made on time and that every batch meets our rigorous quality standards. A typical day in this position might consist of moving pallets of finished goods, helping with inventory management of finished goods and restacking damaged pallets (heavy lifting).  You will succeed in this role if you have a strong work ethic, work well as part of a team, demonstrate keen attention to detail and a desire to improve and grow.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Follow SOPs and all safety policies.

• Transfer finished goods or raw materials between storage and work areas by forklift, hand, and using hand trucks.

• Provide forklift support to other departments as needed.

• Maintain finished goods inventory in the ERP system, ensuring accurate quantities and records.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

• Operate bottling, canning, and kegging machinery as needed.

• Assist in staging packaging materials for production.

• Stack empty pallets.

• Examine product to verify conformance to quality standards. 

• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years of solid forklift driving experience.

• Effective communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner. 

• Prior WMS database or ERP experience preferred.

• Valid driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

• Fast paced and constantly changing work environment.

• Subject to extreme temperatures.

• Ability to ascend/descend stairs and ladders throughout shift.

• Ability to stand/move for 10-12 hours per day.

• Able to lift 55lbs several times a day

• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, safety glasses and safety steel toe boots (as required by company policy).

• Ability to work in tight or enclosed spaces.

• Comfortable getting off and on the forklift several times a day

Available Shifts:

• Day shift

Schedule:

• 8–10-hour shifts

• Overtime including holidays and weekends as needed.

Pay:

Starting Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience
