Full Sail Brewing is hiring a weekend graveyard Maintenance Technician to join the team! The weekend graveyard shift is a 3 x 12hr workweek schedule. This is a full-time position eligible for full-time company benefits.
As a Maintenance Technician you will provide daily support for the manufacturing operations throughout the plant. You will assess, maintain, troubleshoot and repair facilities and production equipment while collaborating with the Maintenance team and other production departments to strategically build capabilities and prevent downtime. Progressively you will become proficient in all facets of brewing and packaging equipment operation and equipment preventative maintenance routines to ensure lower costs, higher safety and optimized uptime. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a dynamic, sometimes unstructured start-up environment, who is willing to roll up their sleeves and support all aspects of the business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Support facilities and equipment maintenance, repair and operations and preventative maintenance program and processes.
- Assess, diagnose, maintain and systemically fix mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, hvac, wastewater, plumbing, utility, tools/stock, installation, PLC/controls, motors, medium and high voltage and operator issues.
- Work on projects related to brewing, packaging, and quality processes (milling, conveying, mashing, brewing, cleaning, fermentation, kegging, bottling, labeling, canning, packaging, palletizing, and water/wastewater operations) across the entire lifecycle (install, commission, controls, operation).
- Assist Production Departments in repairing technical problems during operations by troubleshooting, identifying and repairing issues quickly.
- Provide guidance to operators in production departments regarding best practices, optimal use of equipment and tools and troubleshooting processes for common issues.
- Proactively communicate across teams and shifts to support consistency of the production lines, minimize shift and production variance, pass down project status and ensure smooth shift transitions.
- Assist in development and documentation of company-wide maintenance process, procedural SOPs and supporting policy initiatives to promote continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Work independently with minimal supervision to support production priorities.
- Follow all Full Sail policies, SOPs and safety procedures and policies.
On call duty is required on a rotating schedule, approximately every 4th week, the on-call maintenance person must be available to respond.
